W E L C O M E " We welcome you to the staff of Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital and hope that you will enjoy your work. Our real reason for being here is to treat and care for the mentally disabled – it is our privilege and our responsibility. You will find that all of us share in that responsibility. You obviously now represent Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital; another responsibility we all share. You will have a greater influence than you think on patients, their relatives, and visitors. Your influence within your own territory will also be significant. We hope that with a through understanding of why we are here and what we are doing, that you will be able to carry out your responsibilities to the advantage of our patients and to find a great deal of satisfaction in the contribution you make to Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital’s operation.
